Relax the Natural Way :)
Lately, since I haven’t been having my nightly glass of wine, I’ve been drinking coffee throughout the night. By doing this I find that I am WIDE awake when it’s bedtime! So my friend Raquel said I should start drinking tea instead and am I happy she said that! I went shopping after work today and bought these lovely items:
The Yogi tea tastes sooo yummy!!! It’s a bit stronger tasting, which I like. It’s also made in Oregon and is all Certified Organic! I added one packet of the Stevia and it was a bit too sweet for my 16 ounce coffee cup. My next cup I made the Sleepytime Vanilla with half a packet of Stevia and it was delicious! I loved the vanilla flavor to it! I think next time I might even add a bit of my fat free hazelnut creamer.
I can’t tell which one is my favorite… I think the Yogi one has more of a sleep inducing quality because it has 20mg of Valerian which is is described here,
“Valerian can bring on a restful sleep without morning sleepiness or other side effects or dangers of addiction. Studies have shown that valerian has an extremely beneficial effect among poor or irregular sleepers (particularly women), and in people having difficulty falling asleep.” source
I feel like I can definitely feel the effects of the teas… since I tried both of them I’m not sure which one works the best! I will do a separate trial of each this week :)
So, in conclusion, a bedtime tea is a great way to warm up your evening and a routine I’m excited about enjoying :) Thanks Raquel!
Another benefit it that it’s healthy AND fat free! No calories at all! I’m happy about that!
Let me know if anyone has tried these teas or if you do! Let me know what you think!
I plan to make “What I Wish I Wore” a weekly post! I’m thinking… What I Wish I Wore Wednesdays! Phew, that’s a lotta dubyuhs! It’s a play on the blogosphere’s “What I Wore” and since all I ever wear are my work uniforms and pajamas I figured I can dream a lil and imagine what I WOULD wear if I had places to go and people to see ;)
I hope you like! Kind of a punk-ish vibe and I like it!!!

Laith and I are avid movie watchers. We probably watch at least two or three movies a week. One of my most favorite movies is “Closer”. It stars Natalie Portman, Julia Roberts, Clive Owen and Jude Law.

If you haven’t seen it I highly recommend it. It’s kind of funny because this is a pretty serious movie, yet the very first day of me and Laith hanging out we watched it together. He should have known from that moment that I was a nut! “Closer” was adapted from an older theatrical play and you can tell with the movie because it’s very wordy. It’s very relationship oriented and intense. It’s crazy… if you have seen it or will watch it soon, while you’re watching it try to see how many Fall Out Boy lyrics you can find! Fall Out Boy took a LOT of lines from “Closer” and incorporated them into their song lyrics. To sum this post up, I LOVE this movie! Definitely a 10/10 for me :)

Have any of you seen this movie? What did you think? How many Fall Out Boy lyrics did you find?
PS: Yes I like Fall Out Boy!
Aw, sweet bed time…
It’s finally time to fall asleep… Goodnight world!
